The latest news about space technology is the "Hapith I" sounding rocket from the Nantian tribe in Taiping. The rocket product is owned by TiSPACE, a startup founded by Chairman Chen Yansheng in 2016. Because the local tribal villagers have never seen such a "behemoth", and last year, the launch site was located within the range of the aboriginal reservation, which caused panic and anxiety among the local villagers, demanding that the launch be stopped before the villagers' doubts were resolved.
Later, after coordination with the villagers this year, a consensus company banner design was reached on the land use issue and the safety of the launch procedure. The first launch mission was carried out on February 13, but the weather was not beautiful that day. Not only was the rain heavy and the wind speed was too fast, it affected the test launch of the sounding rocket. The problem of flight safety is only completed by the pilot fire before nearly 7 o'clock in the morning.
However, this is also the first time that the public can see the function of the hybrid rocket start-up program, and it is expected to be tested again in a month and a half. This is the first launch vehicle of a private company in Taiwan. It is also Taiwan's desire to have a self-made rocket and projection capability since it has been striving for space technology for a long time in the past 3 to 40 years. It is gradually being realized.
